Notification Control

Several changes have been made to the Notification Control record to support some of the new functionality in this release. In particular, the following controls have been removed or changed:

·     Manage RNs and Manage CNs – Access to all notification scripts is now done through the new Manage Scripts button.

·     Log Comm?, Program Name, Find, and Server To Run On – These controls, which contained configuration information for the Notifier process, have been moved to the Notification Servers form.

·     Fax Server Type – This control has moved to the new Outbound Fax Parameters section of the form and is called Type. In addition, new fax server types have been added to the list.

·     Default Completion Notification Manual Only? is now called Default CN Manual Only?

·     Outbound Mail Parameters Type - Additional mail server types have been added to the list.

The following controls have been added to the Completion Notification Parameters section of the form:

·     Fax Check Delay (mins) – The number of minutes to wait after sending an unsolicited outbound fax request before checking to ensure that the fax was successfully sent. Please see Manual Notification Requests for more information.

·     Ok to Create Documents? – When checked, FaxAction Host Server is allowed to create new a document in the database when it receives a manual request host system to send a Notification Request for a document that does not currently exist in the FaxAction database. Please see Manual Notification Requests for more information.
