Unisys Host System Configuration
When a Host Server record is configured for a Unisys system, the Host Update Server record appears as follows:

The File Share field must contain the name of the file share for the Unisys interface program (COE) on the Unisys server. The file share must be specified in Universal Naming Convention (UNC). This file share must NOT be mapped to a drive letter on the FaxAction server. This field is required.
Share User specifies a Unisys server user that has the right to store and manipulate files in the interface program’s directories. This field is required.
The Def. Path field contains the path to the set of directories that COE is monitoring. FaxAction appends the contents of to the contents of the File Share field to find the current set of directories. This field is required.
If the interface files are being stored in a directory that is shared with other applications, the FaxAction files must be assured of having a unique name. Unisys provides the ability to store the FaxAction files in their own folder. In the event that this facility is not used or available, FaxAction can use the File Prefix field to provide a unique name to the interface files that it creates. The recommended value for this field, if it is required, is fx_. This field is not required.
FaxAction will check the Unisys database on a regular basis to see if any submitted ads have been successfully processed. Host Interval Check Secs contains the length of time, in seconds, to wait between these checks. FaxAction can use this mechanism to lessen the impact of repeated queries of the Unisys database. This field is required, but may contain 0.
The next three fields specify sub-directories of the combined File Share and Def. Path fields that are used to store various interface files. These fields can, themselves, contain sub-directories in order to take advantage of COE’s ability to monitor specific directories for specific applications. For example, the input directory could be stored as input\faxact. All of the fields are required.
Input Dir specifies the location that FaxAction is to store the interface files for new ads.
Error Dir contains the location where COE will store interface files that were not successfully processed.
Done Dir is used to record the location that COE is to store interface files that were successfully processed.
When checked, the Delete Files? field directs FaxAction to delete the files from the Done Dir after they have been processed by FaxAction.
